Tanzania has a wide array of accommodations fitting both the budget and the needs of the traveler. There are mobile tent camps which relocate several times a year to follow the animal migration to first class beach front resorts.  We will match you to your needs and wants.  Here is a sample of some of our favorites.

The Northern Circuit

Serengeti Acacia Bliss (top photo) is a luxury tent camp and a great place to stay for a tour in Central Serengeti.  A visitor writes in a review in Trip Advisor:  “Superbly appointed and very well run. Beautiful, tastefully modern, generously sized rooms. Comfy beds and lovely linen. And everything worked! Lovely food served to the table rather than buffet made meals special. The marvellous staff provided personalised service that would put many 5 star hotels to shame. The accommodation highlight of our extensive travels in East Africa. Not to be missed!

Acadia Farm Lodge in Karatu (bottom photo) is a romantic Country Lodge nestled in an active mixed farm located high on the spectacular Great Rift’s escarpment area with commanding panoramic views of the amazing Karatu farmlands and the nearby Ngorongoro forest area. The lodge is strategically located between the Tarangire National Park and Manyara National Park on one side and Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park on the other side. A perfect base to explore these three magnificent natural attractions in Tanzania.

The Western & Southern Circuit

Greystoke Mahale (top photo) on a white sandy beach at the foot of the Mahale Mountains, overlooking Lake Tanganyika, is exceptional in a way that must be seen to be believed. The Mahale Mountains are home to one of the largest populations of chimpanzees in Africa. Each day, you’ll be just feet away from them as they go about their daily lives, while they remain entirely indifferent to your presence. Home at Greystoke Mahale is in exotic open-fronted rooms, looking out across the soft sand beach and crystal-clear water. The lake is mesmerising, the air scented and the living very easy indeed.

Kigelia Ruaha (bottom photo) is where you go when your soul seeks the humbling solitude of giant baobabs, the exhiliration of encountering Africa’s big cats or great herds of elephant; where the focus is on experiencing nature and not the gold taps, and where you can feel at home while simultaneously enjoying the care of a dedicated team. Located in the best wildlife area of the great Ruaha National Park, Kigelia Ruaha is a simple but beautifully put together tented bushcamp offering all those creature comforts that you need, while enjoying one of the best kept big game secrets in East Africa.

The Eastern Circuit

The All-Inclusive Zawadi Hotel is located on the South East Coast of Zanzibar and sits atop a low cliff with breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. In the middle; the cliff recedes creating a pristine white sandy beach and guests have access to the beach from a short staircase leading directly to the sand. It lies in front of a lagoon and there is always water for swimming & snorkeling, even during low tide. With a relaxed atmosphere and understated elegant beach décor, Zawadi is a tranquil, laid back hideaway with the very best personalized service and All-Inclusive cuisine. There are nine private & spacious villas, with en-suite bathroom (with bath and shower) and private Plunge Pools directly overlooking the Indian Ocean.
